Permaculture Design Course – Summer 2026
Certified by the Permaculture Association UK
Are you ready to move from theory to practice? Join us this summer in the heart of rural Brittany for an immersive, 72-hour Permaculture Design Course (PDC). Hosted at Afrinoon Permaculture, this course is designed to give you the practical skills, design confidence, and community connections needed to build thriving, resilient systems in a changing climate.
Why Join Us in Brittany?
Learn from Experience: Led by passionate and experienced permaculture educators, this internationally recognised course follows the standard PDC curriculum but grounds it firmly in a hands-on, real-world approach. We focus on practical application, ensuring you leave with skills you can use immediately.
A Unique Learning Environment: Our beautiful small permaculture farm and demonstration site features three distinct teaching spaces, all designed to enhance your learning experience. You will be surrounded by the inspiring landscapes of Brittany, making it the perfect setting for deep, nature-connected learning away from the distractions of daily life.
Practical, Engaging & Fun: We cater to all learning styles through interactive discussions, group projects, hands-on activities, and site visits to local permaculture projects. You will not just sit in a classroom; you will get your hands in the soil and work collaboratively on real design challenges.
Nourish your Body and Mind: Enjoy delicious, homegrown vegetarian lunches sourced directly from our gardens and local organic suppliers. We believe that sustainability starts with the food we eat, and our meals are a celebration of local abundance.
A Welcoming European Community: Whether you are new to permaculture or already on your journey, you will meet like-minded individuals from across the European network. This course is about more than learning—it is about building lasting connections, sharing diverse perspectives, and strengthening our wider community of practice.
What You Will Gain:
•A deep understanding of permaculture principles and ethics.
•Confidence in applying permaculture design to your home, farm, or community projects.
•Practical tools for climate resilience, food production, and sustainable living.
•A certified Permaculture Design Certificate, opening doors to further study, diploma pathways, or professional applications.
