The Philippine Permaculture Association connects members across the country and supports the growth of permaculture practice in many different contexts. The association helps identify, encourage, and accredit permaculture practitioners and projects, while also bringing people together through an annual national convergence.
Its work includes regular newsletters, ecosystem restoration initiatives, and sustainable agriculture and permaculture projects with Indigenous groups and farming communities throughout the Philippines. The field office in Cabiao serves as both a permaculture learning site and the main training hub of the association.
In the Cabiao area, the association works closely with the Cabiokid Foundation, the Pangkat Kawayan Cooperative, and the local government to support education, collaboration, and practical permaculture development.
