Permaculture Map: Projects, Farms and Communities in Europe

Explore a growing map of permaculture projects, places, farms, and communities across Europe.

The European Permaculture Network (EuPN) brings together a wide range of initiatives - from local gardens and learning spaces to regenerative farms, ecovillages, community projects, and educational sites.

Whether you are looking to visit a permaculture place, connect with like-minded people, find learning opportunities, or discover projects near you, this map offers an entry point into the living European permaculture landscape.

The map is built and maintained by the community itself. Each place is added by the people behind it, making the directory a living, decentralised resource that reflects what is actually happening on the ground.

Because the map is part of the wider EuPN platform, places can connect with teachers, courses, events, organisations, and other projects. This makes it easier for people to find not only where permaculture is happening, but also who is teaching, hosting, collaborating, and organising across Europe.

Many of these places are run by experienced teachers or host courses, workshops, volunteer opportunities, open days, and community events. You can explore the teacher directory, browse upcoming courses and events, or follow links from each profile to learn more.

If you are part of a permaculture project, farm, learning space, community garden, ecovillage, or other initiative, you can add it directly and become visible to others.

Why add your permaculture project or place to the EuPN map?

Make your project visible:

Share your permaculture project, farm, community, learning space, or initiative with people across Europe who are looking to visit, learn, volunteer, collaborate, or connect.

Become part of a living network:

Your place does not stand alone. It becomes part of a wider network of teachers, practitioners, events, courses, organisations, and projects across Europe.

Maintain control over your own information:

The people closest to the work are the best people to describe it. Your profile is created and maintained by you. The content belongs to you, not to the EuPN. We provide the infrastructure, but we do not take ownership of your data or require you to release it as open source. You decide.

Share what you choose to share:

You decide what information you add to your profile. The purpose of the map is visibility, connection, and collaboration — not data extraction. If future interoperability options are added, they should be based on clear choices and consent.

Document your work over time:

Create a visible profile that reflects your activities, your focus, your location, and your role in the wider permaculture landscape. Over time, this helps show the diversity and depth of permaculture practice in Europe.

Connect with teachers, learners, and collaborators:

Many people use the EuPN to find places to learn, teach, visit, volunteer, or develop new partnerships. A profile makes it easier for them to find you.

Contribute to the bigger picture:

Every added place helps create a clearer and more grounded picture of permaculture in Europe - not only through organisations, but through the projects, people, and places where permaculture is actually practised.

Simple to add:

Creating a listing is quick and free. All you need is an account.

Something missing?

Do you know a permaculture project or place that is not yet on the map?

If it is your own project, you can create an account and add it directly. Get an account and add your place.

If it belongs to someone else, feel free to share this page with them and invite them to become visible on the EuPN map.
