We are a network - not an organisation
Different groups have emerged where necessary, either through practical requirements or by design.
The Permaculture Network website is legally operated by Vihreä Pourusmäki ry (registered non-for-profit, Finland). Chase & Snow - specalists in Ethical IT, provide the technical infrastructure and development services under agreement with Vihreä Pourusmäki.
This ensures legal clarity, operational stability, and long-term continuity of our digital platform.
The Permaculture Network operates as a community-stewarded platform.
This means that the legal and operational responsibility is held by Vihreä Pourusmäki ry, while the content and activity of the platform are created by its members.
Operational responsibility and community participation are intentionally combined to balance stability with openness.
The platform is supported by a small advisory team
The advisory team meets approximately one hour per month to reflect on direction, discuss strategic questions, and provide feedback on major decisions. It does not manage operations and does not hold legal responsibility.
