Welcome to Fridayhappiness

We're an international community farm, eco-village and permaculture project in the quiet mountains of the western Algarve, between Monchique and Aljezur (Portugal). Life here is simple, close to nature and full of good people from all over the world.

What you'll help with:

• Caring for our animals - especially the horses (feeding, grooming, daily routines)
• Permaculture & vegetable gardens, planting, tending the land
• Small building, repairs and creative/arts projects
• Shared community life - cooking, kitchen, helping things run

What we offer:

• A bed and three simple meals a day, free of charge
• A warm, family-style community (usually 10-20 people, families welcome)
• Space for your own tent or campervan on our land if you prefer
• Time to explore: ~3-4 hours of help a day, 5 days a week, two days off

Who we're looking for:

Open, reliable, animal- and nature-loving people who enjoy simple rural life, want to learn (permaculture, animals, building) and like sharing skills. No experience needed - bring curiosity and good energy. Minimum stay 2 weeks.
