Borrowing from and going beyond permaculture design philosophy Het Kloosterbos has evolved from community food forest to a way station, a learning place for rewilding (your) nature, in a network of such places throughout Europe (eventually).
Always open, it caters to guests with facilities to harvest seasonal food, prepare and cook meals for small groups and offers space to enjoy and learn from nature under its own agency.
Design is now done. Programming being developed, includes seasonal gathering and celebration, learning to live in harmony with nature, bush craft skills and design dinners. Open to internships and student projects.
