My permaculture journey officially started in 2018 after the PDC in Split. Unofficially much earlier. I try to make my picture of the world as broad as possible and permaculture ethics is something I live with even before I learned about those three basic principles.

Since childhood, I have a deep interest in nature – from observation and learning to vegetable gardening and caring for farm animals. This path naturally led me to study landscape architecture, where I was first introduced to the concept of permaculture.

During my studies, I had the feeling that "something was missing" in my education - whether there was a better way for people's relationship to the environment/land, people to people... and that's how I "discovered" permaculture.

Originally I trained in physics, but after university decided to pursue activism instead. Around 2011 I made another personal transition and switched from protest and policy based environmental activism to permaculture and Transition, working in Croatia and the neighbouring countries.
